Voting is serious business which is why I am not going to make any puns today. It’s impossible not to recognise the contributions that universal sufferage in democracies had on their development. Sadly, in these days of voter skepticism, its become important to highlight why your vote matters. It’s the humble vote that can the power to stop autocracies and to topple corrupt politicos at the top. When was the last time you voted?
