The adrenaline rush always had Somu on a high every time he raced down the hilly lanes. It seemed to be the only way to live ever since he had lost his beloved coding job with the futuristic Tesla.
He still deeply missed that spark he experienced when he walked into his workplace with the knowledge that the future had already arrived for his colleagues and himself. His work was his personal form of time travel as he developed things that would be available to the masses a decade away.
The fender-bender with another car at the turn woke him up. As he fended off the other driver’s angry outbursts, EUREKA! His brain gave him the inspiration for the next big thing.
He was back! To his personal time travel and the inspiration of the next biggie of the century!

Sometimes inspiration is subtle, sometimes we crash in to it! Nicely done.

Self-driving car? Car that shuts up the other driver if you get into a fender bender?

I was being deliberately vague as I didn’t want to be accused of copying Doc Brown’s Delorean. But yes indulge in your imagination.

Clever little joke you sneaked in about the spark he experienced working at Tesla! I guess when driving he should have kept his mind on what he was doing, though.

Dear Lavanya,
Sounds like the beginning of some big adventures. Perhaps he can first travel back to before he hit the other car. ๐ Nicely done.
